Kael Reid

Kael Reid is a postdoctoral fellow at Toronto’s York University and teaches in the Children, Childhood and Youth Studies program. Reid conducts research that involves collaborating with newcomer and refugee young people and queer and trans youth to compose and record songs on topics and issues that are meaningful to them. Reid also delivers equity-related concerts and workshops for students and teachers in public schools. Reid loves hiking, cycling, paddling, watching birds, and bragging about their two awesome cats, Hazel and Freddie.
