Meet the Atlantic Canadians among 20 players set to take on Canada's Ultimate Challenge
Season 2 begins in St. John's and is filled with unpredictable twists and turns as teams travel across Canada
The second season debuts Sunday, April 28 at 10 a.m. (10:30 NT) free on CBC Gem, and at 8 p.m. (8:30 NT) on CBC TV.
Twenty players, divided into five teams of four, compete in spectacular challenges in seven episodes across Canada that put their physical and mental skills to the test. Plenty of unpredictable twists and turns stun the players and will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

Adam worked long days for weeks at a time all over the country in trades from welding to pipefitting before deciding he needed a change. Now, he's happier than ever living back in Newfoundland and working from home.
Office Administrator/Competitive Bodybuilder
Age: 23
Hometown: Dartmouth, N.S.
Chassidy discovered her love of fitness as an adult and has pursued it with grit ever since. She completed her first bodybuilding competition last year and came in second place.

Beginning in St. John's, N.L., with stops in Les Îles-de-la-Madeleine, QC, Ottawa, ON, Hamilton, ON, Canmore, AB, Revelstoke, B.C. and Vancouver Island, each episode takes place at an awe-inspiring location that showcases the beauty and grandeur of Canada.
THE HOST
Host Brandon Gonez guides viewers through the competition, drama, and eliminations as the Players sweat it out across the country.
Born in Toronto and raised in Brampton, Gonez was a video journalist for CFTK-News in northwest B.C. before returning home to join the CP24 and Your Morning team as a reporter and anchor.
THE PRIZE
The winning team will receive a trip to the Olympic Games Paris 2024 to cheer on Team Canada.
