"It's a jam! The original and the cover." The 2020 Juno Master Class winners play Jam or Not a Jam. The soundtrack: CBC Music's Junos 365 covers.

The 2020 Junos have been cancelled since this article was first published.

Every year, the Allan Slaight Juno Master Class handpicks a group of emerging artists to take part in its artist development program. Previous winners have included the Fortunate Ones, Neon Dreams, Caveboy and last year's Polaris Music Prize victor, Haviah Mighty.

This year's Master Class participants include Montreal artists Aiza and Fintan, as well as Vancouver singer-songwriter Sam Lynch and the 2019 CBC Searchlight winner, Shopé.

Ahead of this year's Juno Awards, which will take place on March 15 at Saskatoon's SaskTel Centre, CBC Music rounded up the Master Class artists for a round of our game Jam or Not a Jam. To push the Juno theme even further, we played them a number of our very own Junos 365 sessions, where Canadian artists take on other Juno-winning songs that have won in the single of the year category.
