Walking into Garrow Kedigian's Montreal townhouse feels like entering an entirely different era. The structure is decidedly Georgian — an architectural style popularized by British monarchs of the 18th and 19th centuries — and almost every room is filled with Grecian-inspired fabrics, Roman busts and historical artwork.
For Kedigian, an architect and interior designer in his own right, it was essential that the space reflect his personality — which meant escueing the all-white interiors typically seen in Georgian homes for bold colours and one-of-a-kind antiques that give each room a bespoke feel. "More is more," he told us, and in this house that means secret rooms, eccentric wall paneling and lush textiles.
