Step into this modern bungalow with breathtaking views of Alberta's Rocky Mountains
About halfway between Banff and Calgary sits a small bungalow nestled amidst the rocky mountains. The home was built where owner Ian MacGregor spent his summers as a child and it took five whole years to finish; MacGregor was intent on getting everything just right, and didn't want to disturb a rock or tree in the process. "Living in this house is like living inside a grand piano," he says. "That's the attention to detail we took." The result is a truly unique space filled with minimal modern decor, an "indestructible" kitchen and blind-free, floor-to-ceiling windows that keep the focus on the spectacular view and let in lots of light. Check out the video below to take the full tour and see what it's really like to have the rockies right at your front door.
