The Apple Frapple X-Treme Coffee-Rama Esquire, rumoured to be the next fancy beverage put out by Starbucks sometime in February, is being tailed by the frapparazzi this week.

The fraps are out in full force as they try to catch a glimpse of the next big thing in everybody's hands.

Though the frapparazzi took a friendly approach at first, asking gentle questions about exactly how the drink tasted and what its price point might be, they turned more aggressive when it became clear that no answers were forthcoming from the refreshment.

"Hey come on, just look this way for a second?" shouted one reporter from Tea-MZ, while someone from one of the steamier gossip sites attempted to rip off the trenchcoat under which the drink was hiding.

Even without its disguise though, it would have been difficult to glean much information about the drink's taste, as it appeared to be light brown like all those other ones. You really need to taste it to find out, but nobody could seem to get close enough.

The drink may have been uncomfortable because it was not quite finished; there are rampant rumours about some kind of edible straw that was nowhere to be seen, poking out beyond the rim of the cup.

Presumably this will be added later, along with the much-ballyhooed cinnamon/nutmeg/sweet paprika combination, unless all have been scrapped because of the secret having been leaked.

As they continued to French-press the drink for answers about its identity, it ran to a waiting car, shouting something about being latté for an appointment. As it did so, a little bit of liquid spilled out, though the fraps were quick to deny any and all responsibility for this.
