Comedy·MEN CAN DO IT TOO!

Netflix's new category: Movies Featuring a Strong Male Lead

Men can be on the front lines of war, too, you know!

The Godfather (1972)

Yikes! Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando) has his hands full! He's trying to raise a pretty awkward son who's having a real tough time transitioning to adulthood, his daughter's getting married, and he's also trying to hold down a full-time job as the boss of a major crime family! How does he do it all and still have time to sleep?! Can somebody please get this guy a Chardonnay spritzer??!

The Shining (1980)

Writer Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson) has been working so hard on his career, he's almost at his wits' end! Ever mindful of work-life balance, and struggling constantly with guilt about being a working father, he admirably makes time to take his wife Wendy and son Danny on a fun mountain vacation in a fancy hotel. But juggling family and career is an eternal challenge for men, and boy does Jack have a tough time of it!

Entourage (2015)

High-powered movie star Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier) might look like he's got it all, but really he's an adorable disaster who can't quite seem to get his love life together! After his marriage crumbles, Vince finally learns the most important lesson of all — that no matter what life throws at him, he can always count on his rock-solid group of guy friends: Turtle, Shellfish, Dromedary, Banjoface, Hammerz, Fridge Magnet, and Loser.

Rocky (1976)

In this classic Cinderella story, Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone), a hardscrabble, tough-as-nails, down-on-his luck amateur boxer, faces each morning with nothing but a dream in his heart and a cute and cozy long-sleeved hoodie that flatters his shape and is versatile enough to work with any outfit! This inspiring story follows Rocky's journey from unknown to unbelievable, proving that sometimes when you least expect it, life hands you the exact opportunities you need and maybe — just maybe — you shouldn't be afraid to punch above your weight!

Transformers: The Last Knight (2017)

Men can be on the front lines of war, too, you know! Show me where in the Constitution it says that they can't! As the Autobots and Decepticons battle each other I guess because it looks cool, single dad Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) is so dedicated to solo parenting his daughter, will he ever have time to go on a date?! Single dads don't have it easy, that's for sure, but Cade's a tough cookie. Looks like someone just needs a little "me" time!
