Tristan Henry made two stops for the clean sheet.
Cavalry FC (2-1-1) controlled 65.2 per cent of possession but couldn't make it count.
Cavalry could have jumped Valour FC (3-1-0) for first place with a victory.
All eight CPL teams are playing at Winnipeg's IG Field for the first part of the season — a 29-day single-city stretch being dubbed "The Kickoff."
