Canadian short track star William Dandjinou golden again in 1,500m
Montreal native has captured 4 of a possible 5 gold medals in the distance
Canada's William Dandjinou continues to dominate at the 1,500-metre distance on the World Tour short track speed skating circuit.
The Montreal native won gold on Saturday in Tilburg, Netherlands, for his fourth win in five events this season.
The victory increases Dandjinou's lead in the overall standings in the 1,500 by a near-insurmountable total of 1,012 points. The next closest competitor is Dutch skater Jens van 't Wout, who has 730 points.

Steven Dubois of Terrebonne, Que., claimed a victory in the men's 500m final later Saturday, making it a 1-2 finish with teammate Jordan Pierre-Gillies of Sherbrooke, Que.
Dubois, who took bronze in the distance at the 2022 Olympics, edged his compatriot by just one second with a time of 40.313.
Van 't Wout (50.605) rounded out the podium in the four-man race with bronze.
The 27-year-old Dubois is ranked third in the overall standings (608 points) and first in the 500m.
Pierre-Gillies and Dandjinou rank second and third in the 500, respectively.
