Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Gabriel Landeskog and Adam Henrique are the finalists for the Calder Trophy as the NHL's rookie of the year.

They all finished within a point of one another at the top of the scoring chart among first-year players.

Nugent-Hopkins, last year's No. 1 overall pick, had 52 points (18-34) in 62 games for the Edmonton Oilers, matching Landeskog's output for Colorado. Henrique had 51 points for New Jersey.

The voting was conducted by members of the Professional Hockey Writers' Association.

The winner will be announced during the NHL awards show in Las Vegas on June 20.
