It was another frustrating night for the Toronto Maple Leafs at Air Canada Centre.

It also made for some angry fans.

With the Leafs one their way to 4-1 loss to the Detroit Red Wings Friday night, a fan tossed a jersey over the glass and onto the ice — the same scene that transpired last Saturday against Pittsburgh.

The incident occurred with about six minutes remaining in the third period.

The Leafs have lost three of their first four home games.

For the record, the sweater number was Dion Phaneuf’s No. 3 — a player who usually draws most of the fans’ scorn.
