Meet our Friday host, comedian Lara Rae

Lara Rae is a stand-up comic, comedy writer, and the Artistic Director and founder of of the Winnipeg Comedy Festival. She's also a trans woman. Over the summer, she came out as "Lara." And this Friday, she will be guest hosting The Current.
"My life-long sadness has left the building." - Lara Rae says the moment she decided to transition, her sadness and anxiety just lifted.
