Would politicians be more accountable if Canada had more "Gawker-style" media?

Allegations that Toronto's mayor smoked crack were first reported on Gawker -- an American website with the tagline "Today's gossip is tomorrow's news." We'll hear from one editorial writer who says politicians here would be more accountable if they knew the Canadian media was actively searching for gossip and scandal to report.
