Why this farmer built a cool robot tractor
Because DIY heavy machinery is the new awesome.
Matt Reimer has a 2,500 acre farm in rural Manitoba, where he grows mostly canola and wheat. He also has a robotic tractor he created himself from open source components. It can even pull up alongside the combine, so harvested grain can be transported, all without a driver.
