The cold, dark winter makes many of us feel tired and sluggish, like you just want to sleep your way to spring. Unless you're one of the 3-million Canadians who have trouble sleeping.
So it's no surprise there's a rise in popularity of tracking devices like Fitbit, Jawbone, or the Basis Peak which monitor sleep as well as activity. Stuart Fogel is the Director of the Brain & Mind Sleep Research Laboratory at Western University. We get his take on this increasing trend toward collecting and interpreting our own sleep data.
