The man behind Twitter's retweet button says he regrets building the feature

Chris Wetherell, the developer who built the button, has come out and said that he regrets creating it because of how it's helped spread toxic messages on the platform. In an interview with BuzzFeed News, Wetherell recalled thinking, "We might have just handed a 4-year-old a loaded weapon." Abdelmahmoud tells us more about this story.
