BadBadNotGood on their jazz-influenced, genre-defying sound

Toronto trio BadBadNotGood have forged a unique sound that's as much inspired by contemporary hip hop as it is by Miles Davis, which has led the group to collaborate with some of the best rappers working today. The jazz-influenced, genre-defying band drops into Studio Q to perform live from their newest album, Three.
"We don't really worry about the genre, or the title of what is coming about. We just worry 'does it feel good, does it sound good, does it have a good vibe, are we enjoying the moment?'" said one member, adding that he doesn't care if iTunes label their work jazz, alternative or something else entirely.
