The visual artist joins guest host Tom Power to discuss her year-long shopping sabbatical, as chronicled in A Bunch of Pretty Things I Did Not Buy. Lazarovic shares how painting, instead of purchasing, new items helped quiet her inner consumer and how others might diffuse their desires in creative ways. 

"It's okay to say these shoes are beautiful, but I'm not going to buy them," she says.
