He's an older, white man with a white beard who wears a white robe. Whether or not you're a person of faith, you're likely familiar with this widespread depiction of God.
But within Christian circles, a recent campaign to recast God as a woman has gained traction. For insight on the push for She, Shad checks in with two Christians on opposite sides:
- Jody Stowell, a Vicar with the Church of England, is among those campaigning for the right to refer to God with female pronouns.
- Michael Coren, an author, journalist and member of the Anglican Church of Canada, worries the change will alienate believers. He makes the case for holding fast to God as "he".
