Composer Sara Najafi long dreamt of organizing a concert featuring Iranian female soloists and other international talents. Trouble is, women are not permitted to sing unaccompanied in Iran.
The struggle to make it happen fuels a new documentary by her brother, No Land's Song. Shad caught up with the Najafi siblings to discuss what it takes to stage a cultural intervention.
