Vancouver punk rockers White Lung — fronted by the enigmatic Mish Way, with Kenneth William on guitar, Caroline Doyle on bass and backing vocals, and Anne-Marie Vassiliou on drums — storm through studio q as our Friday Live guests.
Fresh off the release of their new record Paradise, the band is here to perform and speak with Shad about exploring gender, sexuality and beauty through a punk filter. They also chuckle at reviews of their recent sonic shift.
"The word 'accessible' is being thrown around a lot, but I'm sure there's a lot of people who just slammed on the brakes and turned the radio off," says Kenneth William. "It's not really Top 40."
