Filmmaker Nick DenBoer joins Shad to share what motivated his bizarre viral hit The Chickening — a parody of The Shining featuring barbaric poultry and a bearded little boy.
The "internet meme extreme" film remix was recently featured at Sundance, and has also caused quite a ruckus online.
DenBoer explains why he wants to mess with the iconic horror film, what his own childhood on a farm has to do with it, and how exactly he pulled off a dance remix of the classic twin scene.
"People almost don't know how to watch it," laughs DenBoer, who describes most of his viewers as "flabbergasted".
