Alex Cuba's new album, Lo Unico Constante (out now), is a tribute to the traditional Cuban music he heard as a kid. That music he grew up with was much simpler, full of acoustic and a cappella songs — it's a style that Cuba admits is perfectly suited for him.
"My gentle side is who I am and this album screams it out loud," he explains. "My voice sounds best, I think, in an acoustic universe and the less I have around my voice, the better."
Today on the show, Cuba will perform songs from his new album and discuss his new sonic transformation.
