Russian artist adds big ginger cat to classic paintings

Ms Petrova put Zarathustra in works by Chagall, Leonardo Da Vinci, Salvador Dali, Botticelli, to name but a few and she plans to add him to many more.

Ms Petrova tells Carol that she thinks Zarathustra is a natural artist and poses well for his pictures. She is convinced Zarathustra knows he is making art and that he is always very friendly to photographers who take his picture.

Svetlana Petrova's pictures are being displayed in the UK from Saturday in an exhibition called "From Icons to I-Cats", being held at the Stonehouse Mill in Abingdon, England.
