Political cartoonists are the ones who best distill the news down to its emotional essence - mostly by skewering the most ridiculous and hypocritical aspects. But also by articulating what's most poignant about the events that sadden us.

So we invited three of the country's finest to join us for a look at the best and worst of the year: Bruce MacKinnon from The Halifax Chronicle-Herald. Terry Mosher from The Montreal Gazette and Theo Moudakis from The Toronto Star. Take a listen to our feature interview.
