Socalled perform "Curried Soul 2.0", the theme song for our show. They're accompanied by Carol Off on cowbell and Jeff Douglas on shaker!
You know it as our opening theme -- Curried Soul -- which was remixed by in 2013 to become Curried Soul 2.0.
Today, in studio q, Socalled (aka Josh Dolgin) performed a live version -- featuring As It Happens hosts Jeff Douglas on shaker, and Carol Off on cowbell.
The rapper also sat down with Friday guest host Talia Schlanger to discuss his wide-ranging talents and wild collaborations with the likes of funky Fred Wesley.
