A GTA developer is fending off allegations it charged over 100 of its customers more than $18 million in extra fees to secure new homes they had already put down payments on. Briarwood Development Group allegedly told buyers they wouldn't get their homes unless they paid more money than what they'd agreed to. CBC's Farrah Merali has more.
