New documentary offers behind-the-scenes look at Canada’s COVID-19 response
The miniseries provides an in-depth look at key decisions and challenges Canada faced during the pandemic. Inspired by journalist Alec Castonguay’s book Le printemps le plus long (The Longest Spring), the series is hosted by Quebec actor Éric Bruneau, who also co-hosts its podcast adaptation. CBC Montreal News at 11 host Sudha Krishnan discussed the project with Sébastien Trahan, the director of both the documentary and podcast.
