Mathew Patrick Thomas, the Republican Party national committee representative for Washington state, said that U.S. President Donald Trump's threatened 25 per cent tariffs on Canadian imports come as the president looks to move quickly on trade agreements. He claims the war of words between the U.S. and Canada will result in a beneficial deal for both parties.
