Researchers from Memorial University in Newfoundland received an invite from Health P.E.I. to discuss ways to improve patient flow at Prince County Hospital in Summerside. While it wasn't the focus of his presentation, Dr. Christopher Patey is an expert on using AI in medical settings, and says the technology can help with triage in the emergency room and allow doctors to spend more time with patients.
