Coun. Sarah Kirby-Yung is proposing city staff conduct a study on water meters and adopting a universal metering system like ones that are already in place in cities including Richmond, West Vancouver, Surrey and Langley. She says meters will help with conservation because it will make people more conscious of their water usage.
