Roshayne Mendis came to Newfoundland and Labrador in 2018 to do her master’s degree. She jokes her wardrobe became exclusively fleece leggings and sweatshirts. Mendis missed the everyday clothing of Sri Lanka, so she got to work. The CBC’s Amy Feehan caught up with the designer and business owner.
