Just 15 minutes before the morning House of Assembly debate on the memorandum of understanding on Churchill Falls, Energy Minister Andrew Parsons outlined to reporters an additional level of oversight that would accompany the proposed deal with Hydro-Quebec. In a rare sighting, Parsons was flanked by Independent MHAs Eddie Joyce and Paul Lane, along with NDP Leader Jim Dinn and NDP MHA Jordan Brown.
