People celebrating the new year in New Orleans instead found themselves among a scene of carnage, after the driver of a pickup truck struck a crowd on historic Bourbon Street early Wednesday. One eyewitness described seeing the aftermath from the balcony area of a nightclub in the minutes after the attack: 'It's something you can't unsee. You'll never forget.'
