Purcell Preschool in Kimberley is at risk of closing in the new year due to challenges with staffing and finances and that could leave 30 families without care. It's a difficult situation in an area that already has waitlists. And as CBC's Corey Bullock reports, despite the fact that a new child-care space is nearing completion in the city, people working in the field say more support is needed for early childhood educators.
