The first 24 hours after the Israel-Hamas ceasefire was announced, the people of Gaza were filled with joy, says Gaza City resident Mohammed Wadi. But now, as people return to flattened communities and destroyed homes, a harsh reality has set in. Wadi, Gaza’s deputy medical co-ordinator for Doctors without Borders, spoke to As It Happens host Nil Köksal.
