A new exhibit at the Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 in Halifax opens Aug. 1 and explores Canada's connection to slavery and the role it played in the settlement of this country. Its artifacts and biographies condense 200 years of a terrible legacy that can still be felt today. The CBC's Alex Guye sits down with curator Afua Cooper.
