Ottawa family doctor Dr. Nili Kaplan-Myrth has advocated for the protection of the public against COVID-19 and organized mass vaccination clinics. But she has received a death threat submitted to the top level: the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. The five-foot-tall doctor has had to increase security in her office, but rather than keep quiet, she’s speaking up to try to increase protection of health-care workers facing similar risks.
