CBC Windsor News, the longstanding 6pm television newscast hosted by Katerina Georgieva will broadcast weeknights at 11 p.m.

The change comes into effect on Monday, Jan. 27, 2025 and underscores CBC's commitment to local news by giving viewers the chance to catch up on important coverage.

"This is a win for the television audience based in Windsor-Essex and surrounding communities," said Erin Noel, CBC Windsor's managing editor. "This additional broadcast ensures viewers have more local content available to them."

CBC Windsor News is live and also available on CBC Gem, the CBC News App, and the Roku Channel. It will also be available on Samsung TV Plus in the coming weeks.

The 11 p.m. repeat broadcast replaces the Toronto late night news, which can be streamed on our FAST channel or cbc.ca/toronto
