The Windsor International Film Festival sold more tickets to this year's event than any other year in its 11-year history.
An estimated 17,000 tickets were sold over the course of this year's six-day festival. That's about 2,000 more than last year's nine-day event.
Vincent Georgie, the executive director of WIFF, said the people going to the films, along with the people working at the festival helped make it a success.
"This year's festival has been truly exceptional, in every way. The films were exceptional, our volunteers were exceptional, and as always, so were our patrons," he said in a statement.
