'Exercise patience' when it comes to geese crossing the road
What's the largest group of geese you've had to stop for?
Why did the geese cross the road?
There are many reasons, including to get to the water or to a nesting site.
Unlike the rest of us, taught to look both ways before we cross the street, geese just don't care about traffic.
Const. Talya Natyshak with Windsor police said motorists just need to be patient.
"If a driver does come across a large group of geese crossing the road, we would always recommend to exercise patience," said Natyshak. "Allow the geese to cross the road."
Natyshak also said motorists should be sure to leave space in between your vehicle and the vehicle in front of you to give yourself, and the vehicles behind you, time to stop safely.
