Chatham, Ont., crash leaves pedestrian with 'serious' injuries

Authorities say a man believed to have been walking across a street near downtown Chatham, Ont., suffered “serious” injuries after he was struck by a vehicle.

Authorities say a man believed to have been walking across a street near downtown Chatham, Ont., suffered "serious" injuries after he was struck by a vehicle.

They say it happened Saturday around 8 p.m. at Richmond Street and Lacroix Street.

The 52-year-old from Chatham was airlifted to a London hospital.

No word if charges are being considered or information about who was in the vehicle.
