Watch a boy's heart-rending tribute to the Humboldt Broncos
People all over Canada are paying tribute to the 16 Broncos who lost their lives in Saskatchewan
As Humboldt, Saskatchewan grieves the loss of 16 people in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash, the rest of Canada pays tribute.Â
Nearly a week after the tragic collision, many Canadians all over the country have placed hockey sticks outside their homes to honour the lives lost. Â
- Canadians don hockey jerseys in show of solidarity with Humboldt
- Flags lowered, sticks out: Ottawa honours Humboldt Broncos
One tender gesture was caught on camera as 12-year-old Matthew Heaney of Whitby, Ont., returned home from school on Wednesday.
In a moment captured by the family's video doorbell, he notices a hockey stick with green tape in honour of the Broncos' team colours on his family's porch.Â
My family left a hockey stick on our porch for the humboldt broncos, and our ring doorbell caught this video of my little brother looking at the stick when he came home from school. Watch until the end, heartbreaking. #humboldtstrong pic.twitter.com/6I9Zu6gF9V

The tweet has received over 3,000Â retweets.Â
I'm not at all crying. Nope.
