The Victoria Day long weekend is here and many Torontonians will be enjoying festivities across the city. CBC’s Clara Pasieka spoke to some residents about what they have planned.

There's some rain in the forecast Friday and Saturday, but it looks like Toronto's in for a mostly sunny and warm Victoria Day weekend, according to Environment Canada.

Whether you're looking to take part in holiday festivities or bask in the summer weather, here's a look at what's open and closed in Toronto this weekend:

Fireworks:

The city is holding its annual fireworks display at Ashbridges Bay Park on Monday at 10 p.m.

The display will last around 14 minutes, according to Toronto police, and can be seen on the boardwalk from Emdaabiimok Avenue (formerly Lower Coxwell Avenue) to Victoria Park Avenue. Alcohol is prohibited at Ashbridges Bay, police say.

Canada's Wonderland is also holding a fireworks display on Sunday starting at 10 p.m.

Drivers should expect major delays over the weekend due to road closures, police say, as well as restricted parking. People are encouraged to take public transit when possible.

The city says people are not permitted to set off fireworks in city parks or on beaches, balconies, streets, parking lots or property that is not their own.

Additionally, police say bonfires are not allowed in city parks and beaches.

The city says people are allowed to set off fireworks on their own private property without a permit before 11 p.m on Victoria Day.
