Toronto police have released footage from surveillance cameras that they say shows suspects in the death of 17-year-old Jarryl Hagley, who was shot dead at a Pizza Pizza restaurant last Sunday.

Investigators said they believed the shooting was targeted at the group Hagley was with in the northwest end of the city, though not necessarily at him directly.

The teen, who did not have a criminal record, had run into a washroom with some of his friends for cover after gunmen entered the restaurant where they were eating and opened fire.

The police have confirmed that there was more than one shooter involved in the incident, and that two firearms were involved: a handgun and a shotgun.

Hagley was killed by the shotgun after being shot in the chest.
