Provincial police say a Dryden man is to appear in court on March 16 to face an animal cruelty charge.
Police say they received an anonymous tip on Monday about a dog being left out in the cold at a home in Wainwright Township.
Officers who went to the home found a husky-cross dog in poor health. Police said the temperature was -43 C.
The dog is at a shelter and a 37-year-old man from Dryden is charged with cruelty to animals.
