Teen faces drug charges after routine 'sweep' at Sudbury bus station
A 17-year-old woman from Toronto was arrested Saturday in Sudbury in possession of more than $50,000 worth of cocaine.
A 17-year-old woman from Toronto was arrested Saturday in Sudbury in possession of more than $50,000 worth of cocaine.
The woman was discovered while Sudbury police were conducting what they call a "proactive sweep" of the bus station on Notre Dame on Saturday morning.
Members of the drug enforcement unit and the canine unit were involved.
The young woman was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana and 511 grams of cocaine.
She is now facing numerous drug charges.
