Sudbury city council has been cleared of wrongdoing in a complaint about a closed door meeting from this summer.
The complaint was regarding a session where councillors discussed granting a leave of absence to auditor general Brian Bigger.
Bigger was granted the leave to run in the mayoral election, which he won.
Meanwhile, private firm Local Authority Services — which investigates such complaints in Greater Sudbury — might be off the job by the end of the week.
