Investigators spent the morning at the scene of a single vehicle crash on the Lasalle extension that sent one man to hospital in critical condition.
Police reported the crash close to 4 a.m. There is no word on the cause of the crash.
Traffic in the area was blocked for several hours from Lorraine Street to Frood Road — a nearly two-kilometer stretch near MacDonald Cartier, west to College Boreal, and connecting to Frood Road.
Sudbury Police have re-opened the road to traffic.
