Human foot found in park north of Elliot Lake

Police in Elliot Lake are confirming that human remains were indeed found at Mississagi Provincial Park on Friday.

A forensic pathology report indicated that a human foot was found in the park, located 22 kilometres north of Elliot Lake, Ont.

The East Algoma OPP in Elliot Lake said it will continue its investigation. The OPP Underwater Search and Recovery Unit are on scene as part of the search efforts.
